Carl Smart

Carl Smart raced in the Carolina's during his career, racing everywhere from Starlite (Monroe), Concord, & Metrolina Speedways. Always a tough competitor and talented driver, Carl was always a contender for the win no matter what car he was in.

Here is an old issue of Motorsports Newsletter covering several races from early 1976 featuring Carl beating some young kid named Dale Earnhardt.

Carl is doing well these days and living in Hildebran, NC.
