Cecil Boyd

Cecil Boyd was a racer that started at Concord in the late 60s in the Semi-Modified division and later moved up to the premier class, the Sportsman division. Racing at Concord, Metrolina, Starlite, and even some asphalt Cecil was like most of the drivers during that time. Racing was a passion and a hobby, not a career. Read an article about Cecil from a 1975 Motorsports Newsletter.

Now retired from racing Cecil and his wife Gloria are living in Marshville, NC and doing fine.
